A. It was 1986. I graduated from NDSU in architecture. I was in North Dakota. It was flat, windy, hot summers, and cold winters. I had a motorcycle.
B. I was going to go to Colorado but I met your mom, Ane, and went to Washington instead. I had a job. We went to Wenatchee with some friends and then went to Seattle.
C. I had to drive to Seattle and back to Fargo to get the rest of my stuff.
D. I drove 1000 miles and my hitch bent on my motorcycle so I had to leave it with my friend. It was the first time I’d ever driven over the mountains.
E. I went back for vacations and celebrations. I also went to the lake house your aunt and uncle own.
F. I started a new life and got engaged
G. I also stayed in Spokane with friends. At night I heard gunshots from nearby gangs. I met my best friend Jim in an apartment.
