The days of the Mac being the premier media machine is over. Mac has spent most of its time trying to be more mainstream, and PC's are every bit as good at video these days. I have both in my classroom. Used iMovie since it came out, iPhoto, etc. Windows Movie Maker is just as user friendly as iMovie and Photo Story 3 rocks! iPhoto is just not as good.
I have used both with my students and these are Specia Education students and they enjoy using both.
