A Lost Memory

Knock, Knock, knock…. “hello,” said Mr. Steven in a very tired voice. “Who’s there?”…there was no answer.
Mr. Steven is a 29 year old man who lives in a very large house in the town of Crocker. He bought the land his house now sits on about 4 months ago and is now living the same day over and over again. But he is begging to remember…
Every night there is no answer just the same three frightening knocks on his bedroom door, except for this one night. Knock, knock, knock he hears, “who’s there?” he asks…
“It’s me Mr. Steven.” replies a young lady’s voice.
“Who?” he says as he runs up to his door to find no one is there. He looked down the hall as the lights flickered and then shut off. He stood, looked, and waited for something to happen. But nothing did until he sat back in his chair. He saw a bright *FLASH* and woke up not remembering a thing. Except the “dream” he had had the night before.
*BOOM* the thunder struck loud and hard as it always did in the town of Crocker. His heart was now racing as he was very confused; he ran to his desk and ripped open his journal… But all he saw was knock, knock, knock, and parts of the “dream” he had just had. Over and over again he had been writing the same events for all the days of his life. He knew he had gone to get a new notebook because he remembered buying it but how could that be he didn’t have another one. He thought over what happened. “I went to the store, bought the notebook went back to me car and…*BOOM…BLACKNESS*
“Hello, hello are you ok?”….
Knock, knock, knock…………
